new anime i'm watching:

kaze no stigma: fantasy and drama, conflicts between clans of elemental magic users thru mostly their high school kids.

romeo x juliet: drama, i never read the actual play but it seems this anime is following it fairly closely, except for things like flying pegusus and stuff.

claymore: dark-ish fantasy fighting, a group of silver-witch, aka claymore, half human half yoma that kills yoma who hides among human and fest on them. the story gets more interesting after around half dozen ep in to the series.

darker than black: scifi fantasy, conflicts between different group of people with special abilities. 6 ep in to the series, still not real sure what's going on, who's good who's bad.

El Cazador de la bruja: western and sci-fi, it seems there is some sort of secret AI research is going on. the story is mostly about a young innocent looking girl with a bounty on her head for killing a professor she was living with, and now she is running away from danger with a red haired bounty hunter girl.

murder princess: scifi fantasy, 2 girls switched body/soul, one is head of some killer gang, other is a princess who's father was killed during a coup and she is trying to save her kingdom.

nothing super, but at least entertaining enough.

yamato nadeshiko shichi henge: series is from last season, got licensed before fansub finished with last 2 ep. very funny comedy of 4 very pretty boys living in a mansion with this creepy gothic girl. i think i will buy it when it comes out.

Black Blood Brother: series finished at only 12 ep, too short. left alot of questions unanswered, but story was good. not very dark actually, for a vampire anime

Ouran Highschool Host Club: very cheerful and fun series, kind of open ended ending but thats probabbly for the best

Mai Otome: sequel [kind of] to Mai-Hime, though i didnt finish that one so can't compare too much. the story turn out some what surpising. enjoyable, but not worth saving

Tenshi na Konammaiki: i dont like the animation style, but the story was refreshing. in the middle i totoally was gonna stop watching it, because it looked like it was gonna turn into a yaoi.... i kept on watching though. the ending was intertesting, it surprised me. i thought it was gonna end like what you would expect in the beginning of the series, which made sense then but wouldnt have been a good ending by the end of story imo, but it turn out didnt end that way... can't say too much or would spoil it.

Canvas 2: ok story, love drama, didnt like the ending at all

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya [涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱]

A normal highschool student somehow got dragged into a weird club started by this girl, Haruhi, everyone else in the club are just as weird. The first ep is completely off the wall bizzard, gives you no clue to the actual plot. All the ep seems out of order, evident by the outro where main characters disagree on ep number. But turned out pretty interesting, try it.

Death Note [デスノート]

New TV series, already very popular due to manga and movies. About a genius highschool student discoverying a black notebook called Death Note left by a Death God. A notebook that can kill anyone knowning just a face and a name. Only seen 6 ep so far, animation is modern dark style, story is kinda like detective, keeps you on your toes, though anything could happen, very intense.

Other entertaining series:
- Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge: 4 dazzling boys on a mission to make Sunako into a lady.
- Tokimeki Memorial - Only Love: Riku, the new transferred student, trying to survive in a school where they are free to do anything (to him).
- Black Blood Brother: Silver Blade, the last descendants of elite clan of vampire, Old Blood, once again gets dragged into the conflict between Black Blood (vampire) and Red Blood (human).
- Ouran Highschool Host Club [complete]: By chance, Haruhi, a tomboy, poor commoner attending a super elite school for the rich, stumbled up on the Host Club. Will she be able to pay of her debt and manage to attract 1000 female customers?
- Mei Otome [complete]: Yet another super pretty girl fighter story with the princess nick named ant...
-Tenshi na Konammaiki [old]: A boy who wanted to become men among men, got cursed by a mischief joker and became a beatiful girl. Will Megu be able to change back? or Will she learn to be come a lady?
